Toyota Fortuner on Rent in India — Rates & Booking

The Fortuner is India's presence-per-rupee champion. It costs a third of a luxury SUV, seats seven, and on a plant visit, a site inspection or a wedding convoy it reads exactly the way clients want it to read. This guide covers real chauffeur-driven Fortuner rates, monthly contracts and where it beats both cheaper and dearer options.

Indicative contracted bands for chauffeur-driven bookings, valid across metro cities. Tolls, parking, inter-state permits, airport entry charges and driver night-halt allowances are pass-through at actuals. GST 5% applies on the standard package without input tax credit; 12% with ITC is available on request. Marquee and event-date bookings are quoted individually.

When a Fortuner is the right call

  • Plant, site and project visits where the approach road is unmade
  • Leadership movement in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities where a low sedan is impractical
  • Wedding and event convoys where presence matters more than badge
  • Long outstation runs with luggage for four to six people
  • Hill routes — Himachal, Uttarakhand, the Nilgiris and the Western Ghats

Fortuner versus a luxury SUV

A GLE or X5 costs roughly double a Fortuner for the same eight hours. If the passenger is a visiting board member or an international client, that gap buys something real. If the day is a plant visit, a project review or a Tier-2 city itinerary, the Fortuner is the better decision on every axis except badge — and it is materially more comfortable on a broken road.

How to book, and what the confirmation should say

A luxury rental quote worth accepting names the exact model, the package, the extra-km rate, how tolls and parking are treated, the GST option, the cancellation window and the replacement commitment. If a quote names only a category, you have been given a chance of a car, not a car.

  • Share the date, city, pickup point and rough itinerary — the itinerary decides the package, not the car
  • Choose the class; we confirm the exact model and colour in writing before the day
  • Pick the GST treatment: 5% without input tax credit, or 12% with ITC
  • Get a named chauffeur and a control-tower number before the booking date
  • Same-class replacement inside 90 minutes in our top-10 cities is written into the confirmation

Frequently asked questions

What is the rent for a Fortuner per day in India?

With a driver, ₹7,500–11,500 for 8hr/80km and ₹9,500–15,000 for 12hr/120km in metro cities, with extra kilometres at ₹28–48. Outstation runs bill at ₹26–40 per km with a 300 km daily minimum plus driver allowance.

What does a Fortuner cost on a monthly contract?

A dedicated Fortuner with a named driver, maintenance and insurance runs roughly ₹1,35,000–1,90,000 a month depending on city and running. It is the cheaper answer beyond about fifteen days of use a month.

Is a Fortuner available for self-drive?

In selected cities with corporate KYC and a driver declaration, yes. Most corporate Fortuner bookings run chauffeur-driven, particularly for plant visits and outstation runs where the day is long.

How many people can travel in a rented Fortuner?

Seven including the driver, but realistically six adults with luggage. For seven passengers plus bags, a Hycross or a tempo traveller is the more comfortable answer.
