Event Transport at NESCO, Goregaon & Mumbai Venues
Event transport fails at the edges — the 7am airport bank, the unscheduled VIP movement, the 11pm gala release when 600 delegates want cars at once. Commutec runs Mumbai event fleets with a marshal team, a staging plan and a live control room, so the edges are planned rather than improvised.
Venues we run regularly
- NESCO Centre and Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East
- Jio World Centre and Jio World Convention Centre, BKC
- Grand Hyatt Santacruz, Sahara Star and airport-belt hotels
- St Regis and Four Seasons in the Lower Parel–Worli belt
- Offsite venues in Lonavala, Karjat, Alibaug and Igatpuri
How an event fleet is run
- Pre-event recce of venue gates, staging areas and marshal positions
- Delegate manifest with named allocation and vehicle numbers shared before arrival
- Airport bank management — pre-staged vehicles against live flight ETAs
- Hotel-to-venue loop shuttles at fixed headways through the event day
- Dedicated VIP and speaker cars held on standby, not pulled from the loop
- Live control room with a single escalation number for the event owner
Vehicle mix
A typical 500-delegate Mumbai conference runs 26 and 40-seat coaches on the hotel loop, 17+1 tempo travellers for breakout groups and plant visits, Innova Crysta for speakers and sponsors, and a small luxury pool for keynote and board-level guests. We size the mix off your registration curve, not a template.
Frequently asked questions
Do you provide delegate shuttles for NESCO events?
Yes. We run hotel-to-venue loops at fixed headways, airport bank pickups, marshal-managed staging at NESCO gates and a live control room for the event duration.
How far in advance should event transport be booked in Mumbai?
Two to four weeks for a standard conference; six weeks or more for peak exhibition season at NESCO and BEC, or for multi-hundred-vehicle days.
Can you handle VIP and speaker movement separately?
Yes. VIP and speaker vehicles are held on dedicated standby with named chauffeurs and are never pulled into the delegate loop, which is the most common cause of event transport failure.
Do you cover offsites outside Mumbai?
Yes — Lonavala, Karjat, Alibaug, Igatpuri and Pune offsites run on all-India permit vehicles with expressway-rated drivers and a lead marshal vehicle for convoys.
How is event transport billed?
On a single consolidated GST invoice against the event cost centre, with a per-vehicle duty slip and GPS log attached for reconciliation.
